Neymar tells Vinicius to avoid the PSG trap

Neymar has issued a loud warning to Vinícius Júnior. According to OK Diario, the former Barça superstar has urged his compatriot to sign a new deal at Real Madrid — and above all, to avoid making the same “mistake” he made when he left Barcelona in search of a bigger role at PSG.

For Neymar, leaving the club where you are most valued and understood can send you straight into a dead end. His message couldn’t be clearer: “Vinícius must stay at Real Madrid.” A piece of advice that sounds almost like a confession. Back in 2017, Neymar wanted to step out of Messi’s shadow and become the centre of the Parisian project.

But that decision was publicly rejected by his own father, who said moving to Paris wasn’t his idea at all. Today, Neymar speaks like a seasoned veteran who realised too late the dangers of a misjudged career move.

Vinicius to PSG… but only after Enrique?

And here’s the twist: PSG actually want Vinícius to become their next superstar. He’s at the top of their long-term list — but only for the post–Luis Enrique era. As long as the Spanish coach remains in charge, the answer is no. Enrique wants a tightly controlled dressing room, without uncontrollable superstars or oversized egos. In other words, the opposite of Vinícius: too big, too bright, too influential for the current PSG model.

For Enrique, Vini is incompatible. For PSG, he’s the future face of the club — the natural successor to the star power once held by Mbappé… and Neymar himself. The plan is clear: with Enrique, it’s impossible.

After 2027, PSG want to rebuild everything around the Brazilian. Neymar tells him to stay at Madrid, while Paris quietly prepares for the day he might finally come — once Luis Enrique leaves the stage.
