PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi Undergoes Surgery After Serious Injury

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has been forced into surgery after a heavy injury. The club’s boss was hospitalized this week in Paris following a padel accident that left him with a fractured wrist and shoulder damage.

Although he attended Wednesday’s win against Tottenham at the Parc des Princes, he was unable to travel with the team to Monaco. Before a scheduled trip to Doha for several Formula 1–related meetings, Al-Khelaïfi underwent surgery on Thursday in the French capital. Post-operation pain prevented him from flying again until Saturday.

20 injuries and counting

This adds yet another chapter to PSG’s unbelievable season of injuries. After Luis Enrique – who himself needed shoulder surgery following a cycling accident – the president has now joined the casualty list.
