The Désiré Doué situation is splitting PSG insiders. Some claim Paris have already opened talks to extend the young midfielder’s contract, making him part of the broad wave of renewals currently underway at the club.
According to Nicolò Schira, Doué’s camp is very open to signing a new deal, which would include a salary increase. The player currently earns €500,000 gross per month — around €6 million a year — with a contract running until 2029. PSG are reportedly considering adding at least one more season.
But other sources tell a very different story. PSG insider Djaameel says the club isn’t working on Doué’s case at all for now, and that the player isn’t even on the list of priority files.
Paris… taking its time
PSG are currently focused on extending Barcola, Dembélé, Ruiz, Mayulu and Mbaye, all already in concrete negotiations.
Two conflicting versions, but one common conclusion: Paris are moving at their own pace. The club seems to be handling the Doué file with caution and zero urgency, leaving everyone guessing about its true intentions.
Will PSG take this case seriously soon, or are they simply letting it simmer? For now, one thing is clear: there’s no rush in Paris.
