PSG have reportedly not given up on Leny Yoro. Two years after failing to sign the former Lille defender, the Parisian club are once again monitoring his situation at Manchester United and could wait for a specific moment to make their move: the November international break. A meeting between the player and United officials could clarify his future, with Paris reportedly considering a deal worth around €50 million.
Yoro could once again become one of PSG’s major transfer targets. The 20-year-old French centre-back was already heavily pursued by the French champions while he was still playing for Lille. In the summer of 2024, however, Manchester United won the race for his signature, paying more than €60 million to bring him to the Premier League.
PSG waiting for a key meeting in November
According to Fichajes, PSG are closely following developments surrounding Yoro and believe the November international break could prove decisive. A meeting is reportedly planned between the player’s representatives and Manchester United to discuss his playing time and future. Paris are hoping those talks could lead Yoro to express a clearer desire to leave, especially if his opportunities remain limited amid strong competition at Old Trafford.
PSG are reportedly working on the basis of a potential €50 million transfer, which would be less than Manchester United paid for Yoro in 2024. However, the English club remain in a strong negotiating position, as the defender is under contract until 2029 with an option for an additional year. United are not currently looking to sell him, while Yoro himself is believed to be determined to fight for a more prominent role. Arsenal have also been linked with the French defender.
For PSG, the situation has a particular significance after missing out on Yoro two years ago. His profile still fits the club’s recruitment strategy: French, young, already experienced at the highest level and with considerable room for development. This time, however, Paris could wait for the defender to make the first move before launching a concrete offensive.
