In Doha, the setting looked like a scene straight out of Mission Impossible: perfect night, surgical lighting, an atmosphere calibrated to the millimeter. For a moment, some believed in a surprise return of Marco Verratti to PSG. False start. No cleats, but a mission carried out without a single flaw.
Mission: Drone Protocol. Remote control in hand, Olympic calm, former Paris midfielder Marco Verratti transformed into a Tom Cruise figure and launched a meticulously choreographed aerial show. In the Doha sky, drones formed the PSG and Visit Qatar logos before revealing the message “The Story Continues.” Objective achieved, immediate extraction.
Still on a Mission for Paris Saint-Germain
On the sidelines of the Intercontinental Cup final against Flamengo, PSG used the trip to inaugurate its pop-up store “Ici C’est Paris Park” and announce the extension of its partnership with Visit Qatar. Verratti is no longer on the team sheet, but he remains a key player in the script.
Associated since the 2012–2013 season, PSG and Visit Qatar are extending their collaboration through 2028. A premium partner of the men’s, women’s, and handball teams, the sponsor remains firmly anchored to the Parisian project. No twist, no tension: mission under control.
No more pressing in midfield, but the same sense of timing and staging. In Paris, roles change, the aura remains. And Marco Verratti continues to accomplish his missions… without ever being spotted.
