High tension surrounds Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Injured in the thigh against Monaco, the Marseille striker had been declared unfit by Gabon for the clash against Cameroon… only to finally come on in the 33rd minute! OM did not appreciate it.

Things are getting seriously tense between Gabon and OM. The decision to play Aubameyang in that match did not go down well on the Canebière. A turnaround that has been very poorly received by Olympique de Marseille.

Marseille deeply concerned about the situation

According to RMC Sport, the club’s management is furious. The medical staffs of both sides had reportedly agreed to protect the player, who was still physically fragile. But given the match scenario, Gabon took the risk of sending their captain on, exposing him to a possible relapse.
