The winter transfer window is shaping up to be a hot one in Angers. A breakout star of the season, Sidiki Chérif is already attracting strong interest, and SCO have no intention of letting him go cheaply.
At just 19 years old, forward Sidiki Chérif has scored 4 goals in 16 Ligue 1 matches, performances that have caught the attention of several European clubs.
European Giants Enter the Race
According to Le Parisien, Angers are demanding between €25 and €30 million to let their gem leave this winter. A price tag that discourages most French clubs, but not those abroad.
Crystal Palace are already in the race and could soon make an offer. But that’s not all: a German club is also monitoring the situation, while AC Milan have entered the picture as well. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Rossoneri have even started talks with the player’s entourage, though no agreement has been reached yet.
In other words, the battle is on. And at that price, Angers could be on the verge of pulling off one of the biggest financial deals in their history.
