The end may be approaching for Cristiano Ronaldo. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Portuguese superstar is considering leaving Al-Nassr at the end of the season before bringing his career to a close after the 2026 World Cup.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s finale seems to be drawing inexorably closer. He will be 41 at the next World Cup, and CR7 could therefore play one last international tournament before taking his final bow.
A Final World Cup Farewell
If the information is confirmed, an entire era of world football would be coming to an end.
Nothing is official yet, but the timing and the script have all the makings of a carefully prepared farewell for one of the greatest players in history. A few months ago, Ronaldo already said it would be his last World Cup: “Will it be the last? For sure. I’ll be 41 and I think it will be time.”
