Paris FC are set to strengthen their attack, but not only that. The Paris-based club is also looking to add a defender—and it has found one.
The 2–1 win in Nantes allowed Paris FC to breathe again and end a long winless run, while also showing the immediate impact of the transfer window with a goal from Lucas Koleosho and the debuts of Marshall Munetsi.
Shoring Up a Leaky Defense
The club is still looking to reinforce the squad, particularly in attack, where Neal Maupay is a serious option despite competition and ongoing talks with Marseille. Mathys Tel and Edin Džeko are also being targeted, but those cases appear more complicated.
At the back, PFC are making progress on several files and are said to be very close to completing the arrival of Diego Coppola, who has been short of playing time at Brighton, likely on loan. The young Italian defender, a recent international, would come to relaunch his career in Ligue 1 and bolster Stéphane Gilli’s squad.
