Will Robert Lewandowski leave Barça next summer? Some would like to see it happen, others less so — here’s an update on the Polish striker’s future.
Robert Lewandowski plans to wait for the FC Barcelona presidential election in March before deciding on his future. The Polish forward wants clarity on the club’s sporting direction and the incoming president’s project before making a final decision about the next step in his career.
Several clubs already interested in a potential transfer
At the same time, the transfer market is already heating up around him. Several clubs have made concrete offers or shown strong interest in recent weeks, both in Europe and abroad.
According to reports, AC Milan and Atlético Madrid are closely monitoring his situation. Outside the major European leagues, Chicago Fire in MLS and Fenerbahçe have also stepped forward. Saudi clubs have reportedly submitted significant financial proposals as well.
Lewandowski remains focused on the end of the season but already has many options available if a departure is confirmed after the Barcelona elections.
