A thunderclap at Real Madrid: could Mbappé be out for a month and a half? The French forward is injured, and the situation is not improving.
Terrible news in Spain. Kylian Mbappé could be sidelined for around six weeks. Suffering from a knee injury, the French superstar may be forced into a lengthy break, a brutal setback in the middle of the season.
A Major Blow for Real Madrid and France
According to reports coming out of Spain, his return with Real Madrid is hoped for in time for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. In other words, the timing could not be more critical.
For the Madrid club, this is a serious setback. Mbappé had been the main attacking weapon, the player capable of turning any match around with a single burst of pace.
Internally, concern is growing. Without him, the attack will have to reinvent itself. And naturally, the France national team is worried as well. Nearly two months out, just weeks before the World Cup in the United States, complicates matters significantly for Didier Deschamps.
