Rodrygo on Sale, PSG Ready to Make a Move

A major blow for Rodrygo. The Real Madrid winger suffered a serious right knee injury during the match against Getafe. Coming on as a substitute, the Brazilian quickly felt intense pain. Medical examinations confirmed the worst: a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and the lateral meniscus. A severe injury that ends his season… and could completely change his future.

At just 25 years old, Rodrygo will not play again this season for Real Madrid and will also miss the upcoming World Cup with Brazil. Already slowed by several physical issues in recent months and used less frequently, the Madrid forward sees his campaign come to an abrupt end.

An uncertain future and growing transfer interest

In this context, a departure at the end of the season has become a real possibility. Under contract until 2028, Rodrygo is reportedly considering leaving Madrid. For their part, Florentino Pérez’s club would not rule out a sale if an attractive offer arrives.

His market value has already dropped significantly in recent months. Valued at nearly €110 million in 2024, the Brazilian is now estimated at around €60 million. The decrease is linked to his reduced playing time… and this serious injury could push his price down even further.

Despite everything, two clubs are closely monitoring the situation: PSG and Chelsea. Luis Enrique reportedly appreciates his profile to strengthen the right side of Paris’ attack, while the Blues could attempt a major move, especially if they qualify for the next Champions League.

However, this serious injury could also cool the interest of certain suitors, particularly Paris, while further lowering Rodrygo’s value on the transfer market.
