Paris Saint-Germain will not be signing Victor Osimhen. Despite ongoing questions surrounding the club’s attacking options this season, Luis Enrique has clearly ruled out a move for the Nigerian striker, who has frequently been linked with a transfer to Paris in recent transfer windows.
According to Foot Mercato, the PSG manager is not convinced by the profile of the former Lille forward, believing that he does not fit the style of play he wants to implement. Nevertheless, the Parisian club is still searching for a reliable solution in the number nine position.
PSG Prioritizes Tactical Fit and Financial Balance
This season, Luis Enrique has rotated several options through the central attacking role, including Barcola, Dembélé, Ramos and even Mayulu, but none of them has truly established himself as an undisputed starter.
Beyond the sporting considerations, the Osimhen deal is also viewed as far too expensive. With a potential transfer fee estimated at around €150 million and wages close to €20 million net per year, PSG has decided to definitively abandon the pursuit of the striker.
