This marks a major move in the making for Major League Soccer. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Antoine Griezmann will be heading to Orlando City. A verbal agreement has been reached between all parties for the French international to arrive in the summer of 2026.
Griezmann Set for MLS Move with Orlando City
The transfer will be completed on a free deal once his contract with Atlético Madrid expires. An initial attempt to bring him in as early as March was rejected, but negotiations have since been successfully concluded for the upcoming summer window.
Everything now appears finalized for Griezmann’s move to MLS. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 2018 World Cup winner is expected to travel to the United States this week, as also reported by Marca, to complete the final details of the deal.
Barring any last-minute changes, everything is now in place for Antoine Griezmann to begin a new chapter in MLS with Orlando City.
