Kvaratskhelia is stepping up! The Georgian star has been named the new captain of the national team, a clear vote of confidence for the PSG player who is becoming the central figure of his selection.

Not yet a locker room leader at PSG, but already the boss with Georgia. The federation has made its decision: “Kvara” succeeds Guram Kashia and will wear the armband starting in June 2026.

With 45 caps, he stands out as the leading figure of a fast-rising generation. Alongside him, Otar Kiteishvili and Otar Kakabadze have been named vice-captains.
