EX OM President Pablo Longoria already set for a new presidency?

Just weeks after officially leaving Olympique de Marseille on March 23, Pablo Longoria could already be on the move again. The former Marseille president is reportedly among the profiles being considered by River Plate, which is currently searching for a new sporting director.

Pablo Longoria could not remain at OM. After being removed from his role as president, the Spanish executive chose to step away from the club and is now looking for a new challenge. According to information from The Athletic journalist Mario Cortegana, initial contacts have already taken place with the Argentine club, although discussions are still at an early stage.

While the interest is genuine, there is no guarantee that the Spaniard will pursue the opportunity. After several intense years in Marseille, he may prefer to take some time off or wait for a project closer to European football.

The situation therefore remains open, but this potential move confirms that Pablo Longoria still holds strong appeal on the executive market despite his recent departure from OM.
