It is now official: Habib Beye is no longer the head coach of Olympique de Marseille. The club announced this Tuesday the end of its collaboration with the former Red Star manager, confirming a major change on its bench.

It had been expected, and now it’s confirmed: Habib Beye has been dismissed by Marseille. In a very brief statement, OM made it official: “Olympique de Marseille announces the end of its collaboration with Habib Beye.” The club also thanked its now former coach: “The Club thanks Habib Beye and wishes him the best for the rest of his career.”

Bruno Genesio Set to Take Over Marseille

This decision paves the way for the arrival of Bruno Genesio. According to L’Équipe, the former Lyon, Rennes and Lille coach is set to sign with Marseille for the next two seasons.
