Eli Junior Kroupi is quickly becoming one of the major sagas of this transfer window. While PSG have been working for several days on the Bournemouth striker’s profile, Tottenham have reportedly decided to accelerate their move. And as is often the case with the Premier League, the figures involved are already staggering.

Tottenham are pushing hard for Kroupi, putting PSG under pressure. According to The Independent, Spurs are ready to break the bank to sign the former Lorient wonderkid. The player is valued at around €94 million, a huge fee for a 20-year-old striker, but one that reflects his rapid rise in England.

Tottenham’s Move Threatens PSG’s Plans for Kroupi

PSG believed they had a strong advantage. According to ParisTeam, Kroupi has already agreed to join the capital club and even informed his management of his desire to move to Paris. A powerful signal that was supposed to push Bournemouth toward opening negotiations.

But Tottenham’s entry could change everything. Spurs have enormous financial power and seem ready to put a massive offer on the table. After Mateus Fernandes and the Sandro Tonali pursuit, the London club continue to make big moves this transfer window. Bournemouth, meanwhile, remain in a strong position and are reportedly demanding around €100 million. Kroupi still hopes for a gesture from his club to facilitate talks with PSG, but with Tottenham now in the race, the situation has taken on a whole new dimension.
