Kolo Muani: After Threatening to Walk Away, Juventus Return to PSG

Juventus had threatened to walk away from the negotiating table. The Italian club have now returned, almost with their tail between their legs, with an improved offer for Randal Kolo Muani. Still determined to sign the French striker permanently, the Turin-based side have revised their proposal and are now awaiting Paris Saint-Germain’s response.

After weeks of deadlock, pressure tactics and alternative targets, the Bianconeri are finally moving closer to PSG’s demands. According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have notably increased the bonus component of their offer, allowing them to raise the overall value of the deal without significantly improving the guaranteed fee.

Juventus Forced to Improve Their Offer

Until now, the Italian club had proposed a deal worth around €45 million, while PSG have never changed their position and continue to demand between €50 million and €55 million for a permanent transfer. Paris have categorically ruled out another loan and have no intention of selling cheaply a player they signed for almost €90 million in 2023. Juventus attempted to apply pressure by suggesting they could abandon the deal and target other forwards, including Richarlison, but Kolo Muani has always remained their priority.

The player’s desire to return to Turin is also helping the negotiations. Following his successful spell in Italy, Kolo Muani wants to continue his career with Juventus. The France international made 22 appearances for the Bianconeri, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists, performances that convinced the club’s directors to make him their main attacking target.

The deal has now entered a decisive phase. Juventus have softened their stance, Kolo Muani wants to return and PSG are ready to sell, but Paris are still waiting for the offer to fully meet their demands. After repeatedly threatening to pull out, the Turin club now know that one final effort will be required to secure PSG’s approval and complete a transfer they once claimed they were prepared to abandon.
