Bruno Fernandes has reportedly decided to continue his journey with Manchester United. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future in recent months, the Portuguese captain has informed the club’s hierarchy that he wants to remain at Old Trafford.
Fernandes is ready to pledge his future to Manchester United, provided the salary matches his expectations. Talks over a contract extension are still ongoing, and although no final agreement has been reached, the 31-year-old midfielder is expected to publicly confirm his decision before the end of the month.

He currently earns close to €352,000 per week, with bonuses potentially taking his total income to approximately €440,000. His representatives therefore want a larger proportion of that variable compensation to be incorporated into his guaranteed basic salary.
Manchester United are determined to keep their captain, who is considered one of the leading figures in the club’s sporting project. However, both parties must still reach a financial compromise before the contract extension can be finalised.
