Bayern Munich have no intention of parting ways with Michael Olise during the summer transfer window. Despite numerous reports of strong interest from Real Madrid, the Bavarian club regard the France international as a key part of their project.
Could Michael Olise join Real Madrid this summer? For now, it does not appear likely. The 24-year-old winger scored 15 goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances last season, establishing himself as one of Bayern’s most decisive players. His performances have naturally attracted the attention of Los Blancos, but Bayern Munich do not seem willing to negotiate. Real Madrid have not made any approach either.
Bayern Dismiss €200 Million Valuation
Speaking to the media, Jan-Christian Dreesen firmly ruled out a departure. “He will stay, of course. I have received no letter, no fax and no call,” the chairman of Bayern’s executive board said, also denying reports that the club had set a €200 million asking price.
The Bayern executive pointed out that Michael Olise is under contract until June 2029, leaving the German club in a particularly strong position. Bayern are therefore under no financial or contractual pressure to sell the winger.
The only remaining uncertainty concerns the intentions of the former Crystal Palace player. Olise is reportedly attracted by the prospect of joining Real Madrid, but it would take an extraordinary offer to convince Bayern to change their stance.
