Juventus have now abandoned their pursuit of Emiliano Martinez. According to The Athletic, the Turin club and Aston Villa were unable to reach an agreement over the transfer fee for the Argentine goalkeeper.
Emiliano Martinez is once again struggling to secure a move away from Aston Villa. Barring a dramatic turnaround, the 33-year-old World Cup winner will remain at Villa this summer. It is a surprising situation, as the Villans are reportedly close to signing Zion Suzuki from Parma.

Despite Martinez remaining in the squad, The Athletic reports that Zion Suzuki is expected to arrive as Aston Villa’s new first-choice goalkeeper. The Japanese international, whose proposed transfer to PSG recently collapsed, could therefore completely reshape the hierarchy in Birmingham. The Bianconeri are now pushing Tottenham to secure Guglielmo Vicario, with the Italian club hoping to arrange a paid loan for the 29-year-old goalkeeper.
