Paris Saint-Germain’s two new attacking signings now know which numbers they will wear. After officially announcing the arrivals of Ferran Torres and Mika Godts, the Parisian club has also revealed the shirts the two forwards will wear this season.
Ferran Torres has been handed a particularly symbolic number. The 26-year-old Spanish forward, who has signed with PSG until 2031, will wear the number 9 shirt. The choice confirms Paris’ intention to use the former FC Barcelona player as one of the major new weapons in their attack.
Mika Godts Takes the Number 22 Shirt
Mika Godts, meanwhile, will wear number 22. The 21-year-old Belgian winger has also signed until 2031 with the French champions following his transfer from Ajax Amsterdam. The young Belgium international arrives in Paris after an outstanding season in the Netherlands, recording 17 goals and 15 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
With Torres and Godts, Luis Enrique now has two different and versatile attacking profiles at his disposal. Torres can operate centrally or out wide, while Godts should provide pace, dribbling ability and directness on the flanks. PSG supporters can therefore remember the two new attacking shirt numbers: Ferran Torres with number 9 and Mika Godts with number 22.
