Barça. Lewandowski ready to take massive pay cut to stay

Robert Lewandowski is ready to make a completely unexpected gesture to extend his adventure at FC Barcelona.

According to Fichajes, the 37-year-old Polish star would agree to halve his salary, going from 20 to 10 million euros per year, simply to continue wearing the blaugrana jersey after his contract ends this summer.

The veteran striker, who has scored 109 goals in 163 matches, is determined to continue his story with Barça, to the point of giving up a colossal sum. A rare display of love in modern football… and a huge gift for a club in ongoing financial crisis.
