According to Catalan newspaper Sport, his agent Pini Zahavi has already begun negotiations to persuade Barça’s management. Well-connected with club president Joan Laporta, the Israeli businessman has emphasized several key points: Neymar is eager to return, willing to accept a reduced salary, and will be a free agent after his stint in Brazil.
While Hans-Dieter Flick and his coaching staff are reportedly not entirely sold on the idea, Barcelona’s sporting directors see Neymar as a potential option, especially given the club’s financial struggles.
