Rodrygo has put an end to the swirling rumors about a potential exit from Real Madrid, making a bold declaration: “As long as Madrid loves me, I will stay here.” The Brazilian winger, who is just 24, spoke to Spanish daily AS and clarified his intentions, shutting down all speculation regarding his future with the club.
Despite being courted by Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham this summer, Rodrygo has chosen to remain loyal to Los Blancos. He admitted, “Of course, there are always offers; I won’t lie about that. But I have always clearly communicated to the club that I want to continue succeeding here, even more than I already have.”
Rodrygo reflected on his achievements with the club, stating, “It’s already a lot to have won two Champions Leagues at my age, but now I want to win more titles with this jersey. I have always said: ‘As long as Madrid loves me, I will stay here.'” His commitment to the team is evident, and he expresses a desire to build on his success.
Endrick needs to leave
The message is clear: Real Madrid still counts on Rodrygo to be a key player. He added, “If one day Madrid tells me, ‘Rodry, look for another team,’ I would say, ‘Okay.’ But that hasn’t happened. The club has always told me they rely on me.” This loyalty underlines his importance in the club’s future plans.
In contrast, the situation appears different for fellow Brazilian Endrick. Reports suggest that he does not fit into Xabi Alonso’s plans, with the coach allegedly having already indicated that it might be time for Endrick to find a new club. As Rodrygo thrives, Endrick faces uncertainty in his career.
