Carlo Ancelotti officially confirmed his departure from Real Madrid on Friday, one year before his contract was set to expire. The Italian coach shared an emotional farewell message for the club’s supporters.

“This time, it’s official. Today, we part ways again. Today, I carry in my heart all the moments I’ve experienced during this wonderful second period as Real Madrid’s coach. These were unforgettable years, an incredible journey full of emotions, titles, and, above all, pride in representing this crest,” Ancelotti wrote on X.

A Career Marked by Success

Ancelotti expressed his gratitude to Florentino Pérez, the club, his players, his staff, and especially the Madrid fans who always gave him a warm welcome. “What we have accomplished together will forever remain in the memory of the Madridistas, not only for the victories but also for the way we won them,” the coach added. He emphasized that the “magical nights at the Bernabéu” would now be part of football history.

On Sunday, Ancelotti will lead his final match with Real Madrid against Real Sociedad in La Liga before taking over as Brazil’s national team coach. Despite his departure, the coach assured that his bond with the club would be “eternal,” marking the end of a historic era at the Santiago Bernabéu.
