Manchester United could turn to a familiar name to strengthen their midfield. According to Fichajes, the Red Devils are considering a move for Marco Verratti, currently at Al-Duhail in Qatar.
The Italian playmaker, now 32, would reportedly be open to returning to Europe and testing himself in the Premier League. Verratti left PSG in 2023 after more than a decade in Paris, joining the Qatari club for around €45 million.
United are exploring options to add creativity and experience to their midfield, with Verratti’s profile matching what Erik ten Hag is looking for. His vision and passing ability could bring much-needed control to a side that has struggled with consistency.
For Verratti, a move to Old Trafford would represent a final major challenge in Europe — and a chance to prove he can still perform at the very highest level.
