Real Madrid Officially Appoints Xabi Alonso as New Manager

Real Madrid officially announced on Sunday that Xabi Alonso will be the new head coach, following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti.

The former Merengues player has signed a three-year contract, running from June 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028.

This appointment comes as no surprise, as Alonso has made a name for himself at Bayer Leverkusen, where he led the team to a Bundesliga title in 2024. Now, he takes the reins of the most successful club in Europe.
