PSG returned to training this Tuesday, just a few days before the derby against Paris FC this Sunday (8:45 PM, Ligue 1). A collective session closely monitored after the winter break… and marked by several notable absences.
As expected, Matvey Safonov (left hand) and Kang-in Lee (left thigh) did not participate in the collective work. The two players are continuing their recovery protocol after injuries sustained during the intercontinental cup final. Their return is not imminent.
5 absentees… but absences were expected
The same goes for Quentin Ndjantou, who is suffering from a hamstring injury sustained against Vendée Fontenay. The young Parisian, absent for another six to eight weeks, also worked separately. PSG must also do without Mbaye and Hakimi, who will take some rest after their participation in the AFCON.
A return without any unpleasant surprises, but with a squad still diminished for Luis Enrique, just days before a derby that is always special at the Parc des Princes.
