The death of streamer Jean Pormanove (real name Raphaël Graven), followed by thousands online, has sparked huge emotion – and controversy. Several footballers, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Adil Rami and Bradley Barcola, were linked to the “Lokal” streamer duo accused of mistreating him.
Images of these players circulated in videos, but Barcola’s entourage insists the context is being misrepresented.
The PSG forward had indeed donated a shirt and contributed €1,000 to a charity fundraiser, but he was not present live on the night of Pormanove’s death. The footage showing Barcola was actually recorded in early August, weeks before the tragedy, and was allegedly used without his knowledge.

“Bradley was in no way live that night”
“Bradley shares the grief over Raphaël Graven’s passing and was among the first to react publicly,” his camp explained. “It is important to clarify that he was in no way present live that night. The video circulating was filmed weeks earlier, in early August.”
Meanwhile, Adil Rami remains scheduled to appear on Le Club Ligue 1+ this Sunday, despite the controversy. Aubameyang and Rami have not made public statements.
An autopsy ordered by the Nice prosecutor confirmed on Thursday that Jean Pormanove’s death was not caused by trauma or third-party intervention.
