The summer clear-out continues at Paris Saint-Germain. On Friday evening, the club officially confirmed the permanent transfer of Lucas Lavallée to Châteauroux.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper, who had loan spells at Dunkerque and Aubagne, is leaving Paris for good after failing to break into the first team.
With the arrival of Renato Marin and uncertainty surrounding Matvey Safonov and Arnau Tenas, there was no room left for Lavallée in the pecking order. He will now look to reboot his career in France’s third division.
Skriniar and Asensio on their way out
Meanwhile, two more exits appear to be just around the corner. According to Turkish journalist Barış Kalkan, Milan Skriniar and Marco Asensio have informed their teammates of their imminent departure to Fenerbahçe. The Turkish club’s president, Ali Koç, is reportedly eager to make the deals official at the next board meeting.
Skriniar, who arrived from Inter in 2023, never truly settled in Paris and was loaned to Turkey for the latter half of last season. Asensio has also struggled to make an impact since joining PSG.
It looks like the pair are living their final hours in Paris. A logical ending, as both failed to find their place in Luis Enrique’s project.
