Real Madrid’s chase for Vitinha has hit a wall — for now. Midway through the transfer window, the Spanish giants made an approach via Jorge Mendes to test the waters for the Portuguese midfielder, with Xabi Alonso eyeing him as the natural heir to Toni Kroos.
Paris, however, gave a firm “no.” The 24-year-old is considered untouchable unless an offer of around €130m comes in — a figure Florentino Pérez sees as excessive. As a result, Madrid have shelved the move, keeping Vitinha firmly at the heart of PSG’s project.
According to Marca, the Merengues could revisit the deal in 2026, this time with an estimated €90m package. Until then, PSG are locking the doors.
