The French Professional Football League (LFP) officially announced on Tuesday the venue for the next Trophée des Champions. Following a draw held in the presence of representatives from both clubs, RC Lens was selected to host the match against PSG.
PSG and Lens will meet at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, with the draw determining the hosting rights. The match is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 8:45 PM and will be broadcast live on Ligue 1+.
First Official Trophy of the Season
The fixture will pit PSG, the reigning French champions, against RC Lens, winners of the Coupe de France. It will be the first trophy contested during the 2026-2027 French football season.
The northern club will enter the match in a unique context following the announced departure of head coach Pierre Sage, while PSG will continue its summer preparations after a busy offseason filled with transfer activity and international competitions.
All eyes will therefore be on August 16, when the new French football season officially gets underway with the Trophée des Champions.
