Rumors may swirl, but Vitinha’s future appears completely locked down. PSG have no intention whatsoever of letting their Portuguese midfielder go.
Vitinha remains in Paris. While his name is regularly linked with Real Madrid, the PSG midfielder’s entourage was very clear to The Athletic: a move to Spain is considered almost impossible, especially after an exceptional season capped by a Ligue 1–Champions League double and a third-place finish in the Ballon d’Or.
Real Madrid Backs Off
Highly valued by Luis Enrique, Vitinha is now seen as an absolute pillar of the Parisian project and could even become captain in the coming months.
Although Real Madrid did study his profile to strengthen their midfield, particularly with some squad changes in mind, the trail is now considered closed.
Under contract with PSG until 2029, Vitinha embodies one of the symbols of the club’s rise in recent seasons: coveted, admired, but above all untouchable in the eyes of the Parisian hierarchy—and especially of Luis Enrique.
