Andy Carroll will appear in court on Tuesday for alleged violation of a protection order. The former striker for Liverpool, Newcastle, and Bordeaux, now 36 years old, is accused of breaching a court measure intended to protect victims of domestic violence.

This is a crucial week for Andy Carroll. The former player must face justice. According to The Telegraph, the offense dates back to March, and Carroll was arrested at the end of April upon his return to the UK.

Essex police have confirmed that he will appear in Chelmsford court, but did not provide details on the charges against him.
