The FC Barcelona squad is facing an unexpected opponent on their Asian preseason tour: the humidity — and their new kit.

According to Mundo Deportivo, several players have complained that the new jerseys become heavy and uncomfortable when soaked with sweat.

After a training session in South Korea, the feedback from the locker room was clear: the fabric absorbs too much moisture, making the shirt clingy and weighing players down.

Too much sweat, but the same Brazil shirt not affected

This issue seems to be exclusive to Barça. Curiously, other Nike-sponsored teams, like the Brazil national team, don’t appear to be affected by the same problem. Raphinha, who plays for both Barça and Brazil, has reportedly pointed out the difference to his teammates.
