Portugal – Cristiano Ronaldo has once again written his name deeper into football history with a record that suits him perfectly: yet another goal-scoring milestone.
At 40 years old, Ronaldo continues to defy time. Already tied as the all-time top scorer in World Cup qualifiers, he is now alone at the top after scoring a brace against Hungary (2-2).
With 41 goals, the Al-Nassr forward now surpasses Carlos Ruiz (39), Lionel Messi (36), Ali Daei (35) and Robert Lewandowski (33). It’s another historic record for the Portuguese captain, who now boasts 225 international caps and 143 goals for the Seleção.
A historic achievement… signed by Cristiano Ronaldo. A living legend.
