Another jaw-dropping twist in the already turbulent life of Dani Alves. After spending more than a year behind bars and being acquitted last March, the former Barcelona star has resurfaced… as a preacher.
In a video published by El Español, Alves is seen holding a microphone, passionately singing and delivering a sermon in a church in Girona. “I made a pact with God,” he declares to the congregation, explaining that a “divine messenger” guided him through the “darkest moment” of his life.
Once condemned before his sentence was overturned due to “inconsistencies,” Alves now presents himself on Instagram as a “disciple of Jesus Christ.”
An unlikely transformation for a man whose life has turned into a never-ending dramatic saga.
