Paris FC is performing so well at Jean-Bouin that VIPs are scrambling for seats… to the point that David Beckham himself has requested to come watch a match. Yes, the Beckham from Manchester and Real Madrid. At Paris FC. We weren’t ready for this.
Since their promotion to Ligue 1, the club’s box has become the new hype spot: Pécresse, Praud, Niel, Lineker… It looks like a casting for Dancing with the Stars, but in a football box. The commercial director summarizes: “Before, we had twenty VIPs. Now, 350.” The Arnault / LVMH effect, probably.
The stars in the stands, not on the field
And this is just the beginning: the club is even launching a chic dinner at the Orangerie d’Auteuil before matches. A prestigious venue right next to the new Roland Garros. Enough to attract even more stars. Pierre Ferracci, the president of Paris FC, tells RMC Sport: “This is the new place to be, we know that well.”
Jean-Bouin has officially become the place to be. If Beckham shows up, no one will pretend to find that normal. Paris FC had announced they didn’t want to be flashy like PSG… but a little bit, anyway.
