UEFA announced on Thursday that it has imposed several financial sanctions on Paris Saint-Germain following disturbances during the Champions League final at the Allianz Arena—where PSG triumphed 5–0 over Inter Milan.
PSG has been heavily penalized by UEFA. In the aftermath of the final, there were a number of public order incidents, for which the club is held responsible. The primary fine amounts to €100,000 (approx. £84,000) for pitch invasions and the use of smoke grenades by its supporters.
