The feared news is now official. Substituted late in Al-Nassr’s 3–1 league victory against Al-Feiha on Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo (41) is indeed suffering from a muscle injury to his hamstring.
After Kylian Mbappé, it is now CR7’s turn. The Saudi club, currently leading the Saudi Pro League, confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury diagnosis on Tuesday in an official statement.
Al-Nassr confirms hamstring injury for the Portuguese star
“Cristiano Ronaldo has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury following the last match against Al-Fayha. He has begun a rehabilitation program and will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis,” Al-Nassr stated.
It now remains to be seen whether the Portuguese striker will be able to join his national team for the final international break before the 2026 World Cup. Portugal is scheduled to play two friendly matches against Mexico on March 29 and the United States on April 1.
