Saudi Arabia wants Lionel Messi, but 100%. The player actually offered himself during the four-month MLS break to stay in shape ahead of the 2026 World Cup. According to reports, the Argentine directly contacted Abdallah Hammad, head of the Mahd Academy, during the Club World Cup.
But the response was cold. The Saudi minister issued a categorical refusal and reiterated the country’s stance: “The Saudi league is not a training camp.”
Messi extends with Miami

But apparently, it will never happen, as the Argentine has just extended his contract with Inter Miami until 2028…
