Lionel Messi was once again missing from Inter Miami’s lineup against Cavalier, following his absence in the previous match against Houston Dynamo. Despite this, Inter Miami secured a 2-0 victory.

Messi’s absence in Houston left 22,000 fans disappointed, many of whom had paid up to $800 per ticket to see the Argentine star. In response, the Houston Dynamo offered free tickets for a future match as compensation.
