Ousmane Dembélé couldn’t hide his delight after crossing paths with Lionel Messi once again, following PSG’s 4–0 win over Inter Miami in the Club World Cup Round of 16 on Sunday night.
Back from injury, the French winger came on in the second half and made the most of his evening — both on and off the pitch.
After the match, Dembélé reunited with Messi, his former FC Barcelona teammate from 2017 to 2021.
The two shared a warm exchange, posed for a photo, and swapped shirts. In the image posted on social media, Messi is seen wearing Dembélé’s PSG jersey, while the Parisian star proudly holds Messi’s Inter Miami No.10 shirt — and even his boots.
Dembélé collected his Friends Shirts
Dembélé didn’t stop there: he also collected the shirts of fellow Barça alumni Luis Suárez and Jordi Alba, now also at Inter Miami.
“So happy to see you again, Leo — the greatest of all time,” he wrote. A night of dominance for PSG, but also one filled with emotion and nostalgia for Dembélé and his former teammates.
