After winning their first-ever Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain are still debating whether to add a star above their crest. Officially, the club’s stance is clear: no rush to celebrate like a “small club” after a single title. PSG wants to show ambition and look toward the future.
However, according to L’Équipe, the discussion is ongoing behind the scenes. The final decision will come from club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. A collector’s edition jersey for fans, featuring a stylized star shaped like the Eiffel Tower and the inscription “Champions of Europe,” has been released—but it won’t be worn in official matches.
If PSG do choose to add the star, they’ll join a select group: only Marseille, Celtic, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa have featured a star for just one European Cup win. A final call is expected in the coming weeks.
