He thought he was arriving on easy ground. Instead, he discovered a real battlefield. For his first start with PSG against Metz (3-0), Dro Fernández not only delivered a solid performance… he also received a positive wake-up call about the true level of Ligue 1.

PSG: Dro Fernández brought back down to earth… and admits it. Arriving from FC Barcelona this winter, the 18-year-old Spanish midfielder openly confesses that he expected a less competitive league. “I’m very surprised by Ligue 1,” he said candidly to Ligue 1+. No beating around the bush.
