Change is brewing at Paris FC as the Arnault family ramps up their influence. Jean-Marc Gallot, a long-time associate of Antoine Arnault, is set to take the helm as the club’s new General Director starting October 1, pending board approval. Gallot, who previously served as president of Veuve Clicquot and has over two decades of experience with LVMH, replaces Alexis de Seze, who was dismissed by Arnault after his significant contributions since the club’s acquisition.

In addition to Gallot, Alexandre Battut will step in as Financial Director in early November. Also bringing LVMH credentials, Battut has a strong football background, having spent three years at PSG.

These appointments signal a pivotal moment in the restructuring of Paris FC, as the Arnault family aims to inject more resources and ambitions into the club.

Pierre Ferracci, the club’s current president, welcomed these nominations, highlighting the expertise and energy they bring to ongoing projects, such as the expansion of the Orly complex and the move to Jean-Bouin Stadium.

Yet, rumors suggest that even more changes are on the horizon, particularly concerning François Ferracci, the sporting director since 2024, who has played a key role in successful transfer windows.

François Ferracci, the Son… Fired Before the Father?

Despite his close relationships with players, François Ferracci’s tenure may be cut short due to mounting tensions with Red Bull, the club’s minority partner.

The prospect of Marco Neppe, formerly of Bayern Munich, taking over sporting operations has hastened the shift. Issues surrounding player signings, including Hamari Traoré and a failed attempt to recruit N’Golo Kanté, have further destabilized Ferracci’s position.

The future of Pierre Ferracci, who has been deeply involved in club operations, now appears uncertain as the major shareholder’s decisions increasingly overshadow his influence.

With an agreement in place for the Arnault family to acquire his shares by 2027, speculation is rife about his potential pivot to a role within the League or Federation, suggesting that the power struggle at Paris FC is only just beginning.
