Kylian Mbappé is enduring a rough start to the Club World Cup. The Real Madrid forward has been placed in isolation at the team’s Miami hotel after showing flu-like symptoms, according to Marca.

No training, presence vs Al-Hilal in doubt

Although Mbappé’s condition has slightly improved, doctors opted against allowing him to train due to Miami’s sweltering heat and high humidity. Coach Xabi Alonso said the French star is “feeling a bit better,” but still not ready to return to the pitch.

Real Madrid are hoping for a quick recovery, but his participation in the match against Al-Hilal at the Hard Rock Stadium remains highly uncertain.

Madrid fans and staff alike will be keeping a close eye on the next 24 hours.
