Joining Real Madrid in 2007 from Fluminense, Marcelo quickly established himself as a key pillar of the Merengues’ success. Over 15 seasons, he won 25 trophies, including 5 Champions League titles and 6 La Liga titles, making him the most decorated player in the club’s history.
A Final Challenge in South America
After leaving Real Madrid in 2022, Marcelo had a brief stint at Olympiacos, but the adventure was short-lived. In 2023, he returned to his boyhood club, Fluminense, where he added a Copa Libertadores title to his impressive collection.
